We can see few reasons not love this little desktop computer, and word is, Apple is going to make it even better with a refresh. The leak happened when SeeFile, a web-server service, announced that their software will support the “new Apple Mac Mini hardware” and that they will have a “Mac mini server with 1 terabyte of storage” available. Good news for you mini users or potential buyers! Who could pass up a tiny desktop with 1 terabyte of storage and the immense amount of sleek minimalism that Apple plastered all over their product? Not us. You can read the leak at seefile.com. And for you environmentals, the Mac mini uses about 1/3 of the energy of an average desktop. We enjoy it most for its unassuming simplicity. “Hey, what is that small box with an Apple logo on it?” Yeah, it’s a desktop. So here’s to hoping that Apple comes through with their refresh of the “uncommonly small” computer soon.
Top 4 Reasons Mac Mini Refresh is Good Stuff
1. We haven’t bought one yet, so a refreshed one is the one to buy.
2. New things are nice, once again.
3. The little beast is a bit long in the tooth (last refresh in August of 2007).
4. 802.11n support would be worthwhile, as well.
